This is Black Bolt
Black agar Boltagon (seriously) was born to the Inhuman royal family, but unfortunately his powers developed as a hypersonic voice, rendering him capable of leveling cities with a mere whisper. (Oh, and he can fly, has some psionic abilities, and is stronger than an average human. Inhuman powers don’t always make sense.) He spent his childhood in isolation, carefully tutored in the way of his powers, and only allowed to enter society once he’d gained control—mainly via strict silence—as a young man.
Despite the fact he should have been a socially awkward weirdo, the Inhumans liked him a lot, or at least more than his unapologetically power-crazed younger brother Maximus, and ended up becoming ruler. These early years of his rule were something of a golden age for him, featuring unprecedented exploration of the human world, moving the entire Inhuman city of Attilan to the moon to escape pollution, and his courtship and marriage to his beloved Medusa. The royal couple eventually had a son, Ahura.
However, there were always threats from alien invaders to deal with, along with the machinations of Maximus. The Inhumans even abandoned the royal family for a time, though they soon all made up. All this and Black Bolt was devoting time to his super-cool Illuminati secret superhero club too. Oh, and Ahura turned out to be as mad as his uncle. Everyone agreed he was much better off being raised by Kang the Conqueror, which probably says something about Black Bolt’s parenting skills.
For a while he seemed to be dead (big explosion, it’s a long story), he’s back now! And has four additional wives! One sort of looks like a horse with boobs.
Now Black Bolt is Everett Kelly
The Kellys are a powerhouse family in the entertainment world, headed by an internationally famous pop singer and a highly respected composer. After marrying, they built a large family composed of both biological and adopted children. Everett is one of the oldest and their biological son, and he inherited both parents' musical talent and his mother's striking looks.
Despite the turbulence that sometimes goes hand in hand with having famous parents, the Kellys turned out to be a happy, functional family and encouraging of all the kids' interests. When Everett started to show more and more interest in singing—not to mention true talent—no expense was spared in allowing him to explore and train in whatever genres he liked. He traveled the world with his family, learning and exploring, before finally settling on opera in his late teens. Everett has a rich, even baritone, and further training at the prestigious Juilliard Opera program has made him an even more striking performer.
During his Juilliard years and after graduation, he's performed in a number of productions, including shows at the Met. He loves his work, but he loves his family more, and still lives at home in the thick of things.
